The calculation behind those glimpses of Virat-Gambhir together

Ritik Sharma (Noida): The England tour has concluded, and it was a quite long tour for India, where our team gained nothing in the game. However, during this tour, a lot happened that perhaps raises many questions and confusion. One of those moments was that first picture of Gambhir and Virat together, where both could be seen laughing and talking to each other.

What the Smiles in England Really Signaled

Look, it is true that we haven't seen these two together since the Champions Trophy 2025, and ever since Virat retired from Tests and went on the Australia tour, the media and many people noticed and emphasized that the relationship between this senior batsman and the head coach is not good. Look, I will gain nothing by lying - I had also posted some tweets during that time suggesting that everything is not right between these two and they are not talking to each other. In the England series, we got to see everything that hadn't been seen for a long time.

Pressure Mounts on Agarkar

Now coming to the story that my sources have told me - I don't know how true this will turn out to be in the future or whether anyone will interfere with this story or not - but my sources told me that Virat and Gambhir were displeased with each other, there was anger, and there was a mutual rift. All these talks started on the England tour because Gambhir is upset with the Chief Selector over something, and this idea gained strength when Gambhir, Virat, and Rohit were seen together. One reason told to me for this was that Virat and Rohit were already angry with Agarkar, and Gambhir's distance from him is working as a union within the team, where both senior batters and the head coach are currently on the same page.

The reason for this, somewhere down the line, could be that Agarkar's position seems to be at stake. Although Gambhir is equally to blame for all these defeats, it remains to be seen what steps the BCCI takes in the coming days, but yes, according to the news I have at present, Agarkar's troubles seem to be increasing.

If you liked the story, please share it with just a couple of people, because it takes effort; I take time out of my work to write and post such blogs here.
